Beth Russell Orange Border Cushion / Fire Screen Needlepoint

Willaim Morris frequently framed his tapestries with borders.
The Orange Border may be seen around the Angeli Laudantes tapestry now at the Victoria & Albert Museum, London.

Beth Russell has adapted them to make needlepoint kits for comfortable cushions and stool tops or, if turned upright, as firescreens. A chart is provided for the bees or for initials to be stitched in the central area.
